Not as awesome as it looks

The biggest flaw here is that you cant turn the screen off and have the app still work. I dont know about you but any extra light in my daughters room and she is awake and wont go back to sleep.
Our monitor died in the middle of the night so I purchased this as a quick fix until I could get to the store. I had my iPad in my daughters room that I ended up having to cover with a towel so it wouldnt be too bright and I had my phone face down so I didnt have to be blinded by it. It also kept beeping which was incredibly irritating. I ended up just bring my daughter to bed with me. I would say its not worth the money of you plan to use it long term. It wouldnt be bad if you just need it whole traveling or at someone elses house but this isnt something you want as your every day monitor.
